Citizen's Information Center

Part of the Public Affairs department, the Citizen Information Center receives and coordinates the resolution of complaints, acting as the liaison for City departments.

The Citizen Information Coordinators help to coordinate city-wide information, including communications designed to keep the public informed of the City's programs, accomplishments, and point of view. This includes preparation and distribution of the newsletter, fact sheets, news releases, brochures, articles, scripts, or videotapes to publicize the City's message.

Volunteer Notary Services

A volunteer Notary Public is available on the first floor of City Hall, 380 A Avenue, on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A volunteer Notary Public is also available at the Library at 706 Fourth Street to notarize your documents on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you are a Notary Public and willing to volunteer your services, please call the Volunteer Coordinator of Volunteer Services, Cyndie Glazer at 503-675-2538.

For more information on notary services, including a locator for area notaries, visit the Secretary of State's website.

Conflict Resolution and Mediation Services
The City of Lake Oswego provides free conflict resolution and mediation services to Lake Oswego residents. Mediation is a process in which two or more parties meet with a professional mediator to talk about solving a problem. It may be as simple as two neighbors who cannot agree on an issue. Mediation can be used for any type of conflict. The mediator does not make decisions, but helps the parties find a solution themselves. All meetings are confidential.

To learn more about mediation or the Citizen Information Program, call (503)635-0257 Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or visit the office at City Hall (380 A Avenue).
