Collector cars and vintage boats return again this year! A Preshow featuring PT 658 will kick the event off.
Join Mayor Hoffman for a Preshow on Saturday, August 18. At 10 a.m. at Foothills Park dock on the Willamette River, welcome the arrival of PT 658 and crew, including three WWII Veterans. Built in New Orleans in 1945, PT 658 is over 78 feet long and 20 feet wide. For her size, PT 658 was one of the most heavily armed vessels in the US Navy. Tour the deck and engine room of the only completely authentically restored PT boat in the world.
On Sunday, August 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Classic Boat Show continues at the Lake Oswego Corporation docks on Lakewood Bay, the Foothills Park dock, and at George Rogers Park. The Collector Car Show, held in conjunction with the Classic Boat Show at George Rogers Park, will feature classics, rods, sports, and special interest cars. In addition, enjoy a water ski spectacular show on Lakewood Bay followed by a collection of 25 classic boats on parade around the lake.
