A new forum is open on Open City Hall - How should the City incorporate energy and water efficiency and green practices into public facilities? Should the city be a leader in incorporating these features into its own facilities, including landscaped areas and parks? To respond please go to http://www.peakdemocracy.com/portals/55/983.

The City’s Comprehensive Plan Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) needs your input on Lake Oswego’s future. As part of the We Love Lake Oswego community planning effort, the community will be updating goals and polices on public safety and facilities, natural hazards, solid waste, open space, local food options, natural resources and areas, wetlands, and community health.  Two of the topics, energy and public facilities, are covered in this area.

Have more to say? Come see these plan areas Community Health and Public Safety and Healthy Ecosystems in action at the Community Fair, Saturday, August 25, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lower Millenium Park. Booths will be hosted by the CompPlan Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC), the city’s Natural Resources Advisory Board and Sustainability Advisory Board, along with other community partners.

The Comprehensive Plan update provides a blueprint for the community’s decision-making over the next 25 years. For more information, visit http://welovelakeoswego.com/
