2012 Water Rehabilitation Project - WO 130
The City of Lake Oswego’s Engineering Division is rehabilitating water pipelines throughout the City. The rehabilitation will replace old, undersized and leaky water pipes with new water lines that improve water quality, fire suppression capability and reduce water loss. Additionally, we will be replacing old fire hydrants in similar locations and installing hydrants in new locations to add additional fire protection.This project is an essential component of the City’s commitment to provide an adequate water system to meet the demands of today and tomorrow.
The following is a list of streets that will see construction activity:
|A Avenue||Kilkenny Drive|
|Reese Road||Pericles Court|
|Eena Road||Lookout Court|
|Gershwin Court||Sibelius Court|
|Sundeleaf Road||Churchill Downs Road|
|Preakness Court||Pimlico Court|
During construction there will be periods during the day when water will be shut off in order to connect existing services to the new main lines. These periods will be kept to a minimum and the contractor will give adequate notice to the affected water customers. Local access on all roads will be maintained throughout construction, however on street parking will not be permitted in the work zones.
