Pedestrian and landscape improvements have been completed at the west side of Highway 43 (State Street) at its intersection with North Shore Road. The enhancements improved the pedestrian crossing at the intersection and include Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps. The project included updated pedestrian signals, a Lakewood Neighborhood sign, and a bench. The project was completed in November 2011.
