On April 20, 2004, the Lake Oswego City Council adopted Resolution No. 04-28, establishing the Ad Hoc Affordable Housing Task Force. The Council directed the task force to identify the segments of the population that need housing assistance, identify efforts that would benefit these populations, research the efforts of other communities, consult with metropolitan area housing experts, and make recommendations to achieve compliance with Title 7 of the Metro Urban Growth Management Functional Plan. The City Council accepted the final report, but did not adopt the findings.
