Eyeshield 21 is a Japanese manga (comic) series which is about a kid who has been bullied all his life and has developed uncanny speed and agility. When he first joins high school, he is immediately recruited by the captain of the football team, who is basically the reincarnation of the devil. Since his running skills are so amazing, they hide his identity by putting an eyeshield on his helmet, creating the name Eyeshield, 21 with his number being 21. this series is also a comedy, and the dreams the players are trying to accomplish are pretty inspirational.
