Vonnegut's classic Cat's Cradle is the perfect read for young adults. Vonnegut manages to magically weave comedy, cynicism, and satire into one gigantic, quirky tapestry. The unique view point of an alternate reality that this book takes is what separates it from its distopian predecessors. After reading Cat's Cradle, I'm eager to indulge and dive further into Vonnegut's other works. If you give this book a read, I'm sure that you'll want to convert to Bokononism the moment you finish the last word.
