This was an amazing book filled with suspense, adventure, and mystery. JaRed, a small mouse from the underground mouse city of Tira-Nor, is starting to get tired of other mice always calling him "Runt" because of his small stature. He eventually goes to save the entire city from an army of rats. This book, and its sequel, had me not being able to put the book down. It is an amazing story with a powerful message. I encourage you to read it.
