We strive to provide the citizens
of Lake Oswego and surrounding areas with safe, pleasant
tasting water at reasonablerates and in adequate supply. Our
plant is a direct filtration plant whose current treatment capacity
is 16 MGD (million gallons of water per day).

The Water Treatment Plant is staffed with seven full-time operators, keeping
the plant running smoothly every day of the year. Our operators are all
fully certified and continue to upgrade skills and learn the newest treatment
techniques through continuing education opportunities.
