<br /> Co-Chair Eliot Metzger called the May 20, 2019 meeting of the Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB)to
<br /> order at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Main Fire Station, 300 B Avenue, Lake Oswego,
<br /> Oregon.

<br /> Announcements from Board and Staff
<br /> Bob Sack: Council looking at a demolition fee. Prefer deconstruction. Can't figure out how to incentivize
<br /> it. Propose ratifying idea of deconstruction reducing demolition fee. Council discussing second week of
<br /> July. Eliot proposes picking up next month.
<br /> Kathleen: Next meeting will be on June 10 at Luscher Farm.
<br /> Jenny: Looking for space on June 29th to give away bags.
<br /> Approval of Minutes
<br /> The meeting minutes from the April meeting were unanimously approved.
<br /> Public Comment
<br /> Karen Davitt would love to see some momentum on electric leaf blowers, maybe offer them in the
<br /> Library of Things, incentivize landscapers to use electric.There have been air quality alerts the last two
<br /> summers, and the gas blowers don't help.

<br /> Mayor Studebaker gave an update on recent Council business:

<br /> • Boones Ferry starting construction in September
