Day Trip Policy
There are no refunds for day trips that include expenses PREPAID by the Adult
Community Center unless a replacement participant can be found. All other day trips may
be canceled with a refund up to five working days prior to departure. A $5 cancellation
fee will be deducted from the refund. In the event that the ACC cancels a trip, a full
refund will be given. Lunch is usually before main activity.
Trip participants are expected to participate independently with no special supervision or
assistance from staff or other participants. Staff cannot manage one to one assistance.

50+ Trip Tour
Have fun exploring part of the Willamette River Water Trail! Transportation
provided to George Rogers Park. After a basic safety briefing and a few
pointers on technique, the group will launch from the beach and head to
Hog Island just about a mile up river. We will paddle as a group learning
about the area and picking up a few new skills along the way. After the
tour enjoy lunch on your own at Lake Oswego’s Manzana Rotisserie Grill.

The LOACC is partnering with Providence Hospital for the first time to
bring a multidimensional program to help participants maximize health by
preventing falls. The program will review ideas you can do proactively to
keep you or the ones you love from taking a tumble. A short Tai Chi class
is offered at the end of the program. Refreshments provided. No cost but

An 8 week discussion group with Joan Hardy, L.P.C. who has over
25 years of experience teaching and facilitating groups for adults
in transition. Topics she’ll discuss are the components of “Aging
