Lake Oswego May 18-October 12, 2019 8:30am-1:30pm Millennium Plaza Park www.lakeoswego.city/lofm Millennium Concert Band Wednesday, July 3, 7pm Millennium Plaza Park Launch your holiday week by listening to patriotic compositions with a special tribute to Veterans and a Presentation of Colors by the Lake Oswego Police Honor Guard. July 4th Parade & Celebration 9am Staging at Lake Garden Court 10am Parade, Celebration 10:30am-1:30pm Millennium Plaza Park Join the fun or watch your friends in the spectacular parade down A Avenue. Festivities continue at the park with a performance from Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers, music from Gospel Hooligans, face painting, balloon animals from Tuxedo Jimmy, and a pie eating contest. Food available for purchase from Blue Raven, Dogs & Fries, Intentional Coffee, Klassic Kettlecorn, Koi Fusion, Kona Ice, NOLA Doughnuts, Rip City Grill and Ruby Jewel. Independence Day Illumination: A Light Show Thursday, July 4, 7:30-10:30pm Millennium Plaza Park Celebrations end with an evening of sparkling lights. Enjoy tunes from DJ Danny Dwyer, performances from jugglers and hula hoopers, balloon twisting and more. Cuisine and libations available for purchase from Ancestry Brewing, Dogs & Fries, Koi Fusion, Kona Ice and MexiRican. Pickleball Showcase Saturday, August 3, 1pm New Pickleball Courts at George Rogers Park Join the Lake Oswego Pickleball Club and Parks & Recreation for an exhibition featuring six top pickleball pros, including National Champions Wes Gabrielsen and Bonnie Williams, as well as top ranked Tony Tollenaar, Kurtis Campbell, Erik Lange and Tracie Dejager. Spectators will see the sport played at its limit (with a dose of fun!) with Doubles and singles. The exhibition will be followed by a mini clinic from the pros and a social.
