<br /> Chair Paul Soper called the November 18, 2019 meeting of the Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB)to
<br /> order at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Fire Station Conference Room, Lake Oswego, Oregon.

<br /> Announcements from Board and Staff
<br /> Anna-Marie:
<br /> Planning a Climate Strike at school on December 6. Hoping to partner with Sunshine Movement. Still
<br /> working out details. Hoping to build momentum ahead of 4/20/20 Earth Day strike. Would like to write a
<br /> cover letter for the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan.
<br /> Bob:
<br /> City Council has approved a demolition tax.There is a reduction in that fee if the developer deconstructs
<br /> the home.
<br /> Interested in changing the job description of traffic engineer to be more transportation demand
<br /> inclusive.
<br /> Paul:
<br /> Introduced new board members, Sarah Hussion and Jessica Green.
<br /> Jenny:
<br /> Recording meeting on phone.
<br /> Straws screening at Lake Theater on December 12. Sponsored by City and Surfrider. No new updates on
<br /> the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan. Waste audit results show that City facilities have gotten much
<br /> worse in terms of food in the trash.
