The <br />safety of community members, staff, volunteers, vendors and contractors remains the City’s top priority. <br />Following the press conference from Governor Kate Brown on May 7 that included the recommendation <br />of cancelation of all large gatherings through September, the City made the decision to cancel the <br />following events: <br /> <br />• Because of the Brave: Memorial Day Celebration, May 25, 11 a.m., Foothills Park <br />• Millennium Concert Band, July 3, 7 p.m., Millennium Plaza Park <br />• Star Spangled Parade and Celebration, July 4, 10 a.m., Millennium Plaza Park <br />• Independence Day Illumination Concert & Laser Light Show, July 4, 7-10:30 p.m., Foothills Park <br />• Sunday Moonlight & Music Concerts, July 5-August 23, 6-7:30 p.m., Millennium Plaza Park <br />• Essential LO Concert, July 8, 7-9:30 p.m., Golf Course <br />• Wednesday Sounds of Summer Concerts, July 15-29, 7-9 p.m., Foothills Park <br />• Thursday Movies in the Park, July 23-August 5, Dusk, Millennium Plaza Park <br />• Howl at the Moon, August 1, 4:30-9:30 p.m., Luscher Farm <br />In addition, with the Lakewood Center’s transition from the large Festival of Arts to smaller programs, <br />the Parks & Recreation Department’s two Festival of Arts activities, Youth Art Exploratorium on June 26 <br />and the Missoula Children’s Theater on June 26 and 27, have been canceled. <br /> <br />The Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market returns to operation on Saturday, June 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. <br />with numerous safety modifications, including a reduction in footprint, expanded spacing between <br />vendor booths and cancellation of non-essential programs.
