Subject:Type II Tree Removal Comment 499-23-001116-TREE
CAUTION.This email originated from outside your organization Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders
I am emailIng to comment on the tree removal for perrnIt number 099-23,01116-1REE.
I am concerned this proposal is cutting too many trees for a lot that already has a house and drive way on it The proposal to cut 14 trees dramatically affects the neighborhood's*line and aesthetic as it is the only real collection of trees left in the Wembley Park&Uplands neighborhood Cutting them down would
Instantly decrease the green-space of the neighborhood, making our nelghborhood and city less unique and special
This collection of trees is part of the only connection from Iron Mountain Park to Springbrook park This corridor provides passage for deer, migratory birds such as turkey vultures, bald eagles and various other birds&owls that have been seen using these same trees that are proposed to be cut down They also provide
homes to local Douglas Tree squirrels
I also fear Mat sumns down Me trees will affect the remaining trees ability.remain beak. Most of these trees planmd Me same age am Me tress around them and removing Ms many will weaken Me shared rom system of Me remming ones.TM proposal is looking to not put pluk one or two tress but rid down
entre winclureens of trees.
These trees have protected one another, our Muses and utilloes Men the weaMer gets nasty During Me great wlnd storm In Feb 2020 our homes and power remained Imam as well as all Me trees In the proposed space held up wiMout any demurs.to homes or power lines dm to the strong roots and rows of tall
and strong trees Ths proposed removal will greatly weaken not only the removed trees as mndscreens Mt greatly reduce the strength nurnMr of Mc remaining trees.
Please let me know If you need any further pictures or have any other questions for rne.
Thank you,
Puskln Flegenbaum
