Discussion
On Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at 10:00 A.M., a bid opening was held for the
Multiple Site Landscape Maintenance Contract. The results are as follow:
• TruGreen LandCare $112,405.00
• Seagraves Landscape Services $113,802.00
All bids were presented without exception. TruGreen LandCare is the low
bidder. Staff recommends award to the low bidder, TruGreen LandCare. Funds
to cover the cost of the contract have been included in the Street Fund, Library
Fund, Park Fund and the Water Fund in the City's F.Y 2001-2002 budget.
Alternatives
The alternatives are to 1) award the bid, 2) do not award the bid, or 3) remove
from the consent agenda and discuss.
Conclusion
Staff recommends that Council award bid for the Multiple Site Landscape
Maintenance Contract to TruGreen LandCare in the amount of$112,405.00.
