Upper Boones Ferry Rd., Tigard, Oregon 97224 in the amount of $112,405.00 for the City's annual Multiple Site Landscape Maintenance Contract. Introduction This Contract requires Council award in order to comply with City and State contracting and purchasing procedures. Funds to support this work are included in the F.Y. 2002-2003 budgets for the Street Fund, Library Fund, Park Fund, and the Water Fund. Background The contract provides maintenance for landscaping on Water Department Properties, City Hall, the Library, the Trolley, Adult Community Center, Tennis Center, Open Spaces, and various beautified areas within street rights of way. The results are as follow: • TruGreen LandCare $112,405.00 • Seagraves Landscape Services $113,802.00 All bids were presented without exception. TruGreen LandCare is the low bidder. Staff recommends award to the low bidder, TruGreen LandCare. Funds to cover the cost of the contract have been included in the Street Fund, Library Fund, Park Fund and the Water Fund in the City's F.Y 2001-2002 budget. Alternatives The alternatives are to 1) award the bid, 2) do not award the bid, or 3) remove from the consent agenda and discuss. Conclusion Staff recommends that Council award bid for the Multiple Site Landscape Maintenance Contract to TruGreen LandCare in the amount of$112,405.00. 2 14
