HOA representative. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Advisory Board (PARKS Board) reviewed and unanimously <br />approved the minutes from May 16, 2018. <br /> <br />Citizen Comment: <br /> Charles Ormsby, Birdshill NA Co-Chair and Lydia Lipman, Stampher Rd. HOA representative <br />delayed commentary in order to participate in the discussion of the Tyron Cove/Walker <br />Property, Disposition of Property Public Hearing. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL UPDATE: <br /> The Parks Board prepared a presentation high lighting the prioritization of projects and <br />recommending a potential funding strategy. <br /> Parks Board strongly urged City Council to formally decide to place the renewal of the three <br />expiring bonds on the May 2019 ballot. The renewal of LO’s expiring parks bonds is critical to <br />help fund many high priority projects over the next decade particularly the new Parks and <br />Recreation Center. In addition, Parks Board urged Council, collectively and individually, to <br />support the professional planning, communications and marketing of this bond measure to our <br />citizens. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />Disposition of Property Public Hearing: <br />Scott Bullard read the guidelines for the park disposition public hearing. <br />The opening of the public hearing was announced in accordance with Section 1 (4) of the Asset <br />Management and Disposition of Policy for Park Land for the surplus property at 13990 Stampher Road – <br />known as the Tryon Cove Park Annex/Walker property. Per City Council Resolution 12-63, the Park and <br />Recreation Department has evaluated the property at Tryon cove Annex (Walker Property) for potential
