Lake Oswego Meals-on-Wheels
Lake Oswego Meals-on-Wheels (LOMOW) is a non-profit Advisory Board made up of dedicated volunteers who engage in fundraising efforts throughout the year to support the meal program offered by the ACC.
The mission of LOMOW is to enrich the lives of seniors and disabled residents, including those who are housebound, and to assist in maintaining their independence by providing them with nutritious meals.
The critical fundraising arm of this program involves resources such as grant programs accomplished through work with civic organizations, churches, and through individual donations. There is an ever increasing need for fundraising. In 2012, the ACC delivered or provided more than 20,000 meals to the community. This is an increase of 17% over 2010. It is the only such program that provides meals to Lake Oswego seniors.
