Lake Oswego Meals-on-Wheels
Lake Oswego Meals-on-Wheels (LOMOW) is a non-profit Advisory Board made up of dedicated volunteers who engage in fundraising efforts throughout the year to support the meal program offered by the ACC.
The mission of LOMOW is to enrich the lives of seniors including those who are housebound, and residents who are disabled to assist in maintaining their independence by providing them with nutritious meals.
The critical fundraising arm of this program involves resources such as grant programs accomplished through work with civic organizations, churches, and through individual donations. There is an ever increasing need for fundraising. More than 20,000 meals are served annually with 75% being Meals On Wheels delivered directly to the housebound by caring volunteers. 25% attend on-site at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center. It is the only such program that provides meals to Lake Oswego seniors.
Visit the LOMOW website to make a donation.
