Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1984, TVA Architects set out to create an interdisciplinary architecture, interior design, and planning studio focused on innovation and creative problem-solving. Our portfolio spans commercial, office, housing, healthcare, civic, and higher education projects. TVA proudly became a majority women-owned business in 2019, furthering our commitment to diversity and excellence.
At TVA, we believe architecture is a service that goes beyond buildings to meet the emotional and functional needs of clients, occupants, and the community. Design impacts behavior, and we are responsible for creating spaces that foster equity and inclusivity. We relentlessly sweat the small stuff to deliver spaces that function effortlessly, and we find breakthroughs by pushing where others stop, knowing it’s worth working a little harder for something that will provide a lasting impact.

Many of our team members have been with TVA throughout their entire careers, contributing to a culture of expertise and collaboration.
