Boards & Commissions Vacancies

Are you interested in serving your community?  Parks, transportation, sustainability, or development pique your interest? Consider volunteering by becoming a member of one of our Boards & Commissions!

Learn more about boards and commissions opportunities and fill out an application online.

Plus, watch a short video to find out what current members have to say about their experience!

In early 2019, the City transitioned to an annual recruitment for all boards and commissions.  Our hope is that with this single annual effort and a larger marketing outreach, we will create a greater awareness to attract and engage more members of our community.

To apply for a volunteer position on a City of Lake Oswego board, commission, or committee, please follow the link below to the application for your area of interest. The application is designed to be completed online and is submitted by clicking the submit button at the end of the form. You will receive confirmation of receipt on the webpage immediately, and staff will be in touch regarding your application after the closing date to set up a virtual interview time in June.

Please note that you may apply for more than one Board or Commission, but may only be appointed to serve on one Board or Commission at one time.

Lake Oswego is a safe, caring, and respectful community - all are encouraged to apply!  Online Applications accepted April 15 - May 31 with virtual interviews taking place June 12, 16, and 18.
