About the Historic Resources Advisory Board
The Historic Resources Advisory Board (HRAB) is an eight-member (including one youth member) citizen advisory body appointed by the City Council. It meets to promote and foster the historic, educational, architectural, cultural, economic, and general welfare of the public through the identification, preservation, restoration, and protection of those structures, sites, objects, and districts of historic and cultural interest within the city.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month. *Meetings are held at City Hall, 380 A Avenue, in the Municipal Courtroom or the City Council Chamber (first floor), generally from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Meeting time, date, and location are subject to change. Please contact staff at (503) 697-6577 to confirm meeting details.
*Due to COVID-19, meetings are being conducted virtually. All members of the HRAB are attending remotely using Webex or Zoom. If you are interested in participating, please contact Paul Espe, Associate Planner, (503) 697-6577 or email.
The City continues to take these steps as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to limit in-person contact and promote social distancing. The pandemic is an emergency that threatens public health, safety, and welfare, which requires us to meet remotely by electronic communications. The City thanks you for your patience.
Notices of meetings are published in the City's monthly newsletter -- Hello LO and on the Community Calendar found on the City's webpage. Agendas are also posted on the first floor bulletin board in City Hall, the Adult Community Center and Library.
