Warren House, Circa 1912

Warren House, Circa 1912

Location: 606 Second Street

This house is one of the finest examples of the Craftsman Bungalow style in the First Addition Neighborhood.  In addition to being finely crafted, the house is also well preserved.  The house has many features associated with the Craftsman Bungalow style.   The low-pitched gable roof has deep eaves, exposed rafters and bargeboards.  It also has decorative scroll-cut purlins and braces to support the wide overhang.  The house has the requisite front porch, in this case a full-width recessed porch with a dentil course above the lintel.
