LU 15-0050: Community Development Code Amendments Related to Stormwater Management
The proposed amendments to the Community Development Code and Utility Code are designed to meet requirements of the City’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit, and to improve the overall stormwater management process within the City, including adoption of new Lake Oswego Stormwater Management Manual. Amendments affect the following codes: Community Development Code (LOC Chapter 50); Utility Code (LOC Chapter 38).

The City Council held a public hearing on February 2, 2016, and tentatively approved the proposed amendments. On February 16, 2016, the City Council adopted the final version of Ordinance 2695, including findings and conclusions.
Effective date for Ordinance 2695: March 17, 2016

At its meeting on January 11, 2016, the Planning Commission approved the Findings, Conclusions and Order (final recommendation). The City Council has a study session scheduled for January 19, 2016. The public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 2, 2016.

At its meeting on December 14, 2015, the Planning Commission made a tentative recommendation. The Findings, Conclusions and Order (the final recommendation) will be considered on January 11, 2016
