Marylhurst Commons/Mercy Greenbrae Tour

 

On Monday, October 9, 2023, at 4:00 PM, the Planning Commission will meet at the construction office in the ground floor of Davignon Hall located at 3190 Furman Drive, Lake Oswego, to tour the Mercy Greenbrae Affordable Housing Project.

The purpose of the non-City Hall meeting location is for the Planning Commission and staff to learn more about the development in order to inform the City’s work to develop a Housing Production Strategy (HPS) in compliance with state House Bill 2003 (2019) (PP 22-0005):

  • Mercy Housing NW’s Background and Mission
  • History of Marylhurst Commons Proposal (Site History, Outreach, Land Use Approvals)
  • City Policies to Promote Affordable Housing at Marylhurst
  • Relationship to HPS work

 The public is welcome to join Commission members on the tour. The tour will be at an active construction site and persons attending are required to wear closed-toe shoes.  In addition, to ensure that we have enough required personal protection equipment (PPE), e.g., hard hat, safety vests, safety goggles, etc., please reserve your spot by emailing pctestimony@lakeoswego.city by noon on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
