Master Planning George Rogers Park
The George Rogers Master Plan will identify a range of specific recreations; the location, type, extent of active and passive recreation facilities and natural resource and open space areas to be preserved and enhanced.

Springbrook Trails Plan
In 1999 the City of Lake Oswego, in partnership with friends, neighbors and a trails consultant, began a trails plan for Springbrook Park.  The plan was intended to identify existing trails, determine which trails should be retained and where new trails and trail improvements were needed, and to identify ecologically sensitive areas for removal of ad-hoc trails.  City staff, working with the trails consultant, submitted the plans for comment in two large public meetings and received many individual written comments.  On February 16, 2001, the Cityís Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and the Natural Resources Advisory Board approved the revised plan.

Implementation of the master plan for Springbrook Park is to begin in the fall/winter of 2001. City planning staff and parks maintenance staff are currently moving forward with the details of the implementation.
