About the Sustainability Advisory Board

The Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB) is a citizen advisory body appointed by the City Council consisting of seven regular members appointed for three-year terms, plus two members less than 18 years old at the time of appointment who shall be appointed for one-year terms which may be renewed for one additional year.

Qualifications for Regular Members
No less than a majority (five) of the members of the Sustainability Advisory Board shall be residents of the City of Lake Oswego.  Any members not residing in the City shall reside within the City's Urban Services Boundary OR own a business located within the City, OR be employed full-time within the City.  (If you are a business owner, but do not live in the City or City's Urban Services Boundary, the business must have a current City Business License; If you are an employee of a business in the City of Lake Oswego, but live outside the City, or City's Urban Services Boundary, please submit a letter to that effect signed by the business owner or manager.)

Sustainability Advisory Board Meetings
Meetings are held the third Monday of every month from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Please check current meeting agenda or contact staff at 503-635-0291 to confirm the details.

Meeting agendas are typically posted on this site one week prior to the meeting. Notices of meetings are also published on the City's community web calendar.
