2026 Oswego Lake Draw-Down
Lake Oswego Corporation (Lake Corp) will begin the next lake draw-down on October 15, 2026.
File building permit applications for lake-down projects early, to ensure that you receive a permit in time.
Submit building permit applications for work during the draw-down no later than September 30, 2026. Applications filed after September 30, 2026 may not receive a permit in time to complete work while water is down.
Turnaround time for comments from the first review of building permit applications by the City is 4 weeks. Submit applications before September 30th, 2026 to give plenty of time for review, so you have your permit in hand and avoid the rush.
Common lake draw-down projects include:
- Dock repairs
- Boathouses
- Utility repairs
