Permit Expiration
Your permit is valid for 180 days from the date of issuance or from the date of the most recently approved inspection.

As long as you are continuing to work on your project and calling for regular inspections, your permit stays active.

Your permit expires if work is suspended or abandon for 180 days or more.

If you can't work within a 180-day period and don't wish to abandon the project, you may submit a written request to extend your permit additional 180-day period.

Once you have received your final building inspection approval, your permit is finale and occupancy is allowed.
