Permit Expiration

Your permit is valid for 180 days from the date of issuance or from the date of the most recently approved inspection.

• As long as you are continuing to work on your project and calling for regular inspections, your permit stays active. 

• Your permit expires if work is suspended or abandon for 180 days or more.

• If you can't work within a 180-day period and don't wish to abandon the project, you may submit a written request to extend your permit additional 180-day period.

• Once you have received your final building inspection approval, your permit is finale and occupancy is allowed.
