The City of Lake Oswego commissioned two economic reports at the end of of 2020. the Retail Market Analysis Updates provides the status of the current retail base, key changes since the City's last market study in 2012, and expected long-term impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The City has created an interactive, searchable Lake Oswego 'Open for Business' Map based on our joint Chamber and City 'Open for Business' list! More than 300 local businesses are included. Local businesses are encouraged to provide information about their services. The list and map are updated each week.

Lake Oswego restaurants have faced numerous challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To assist our local restaurants, in September 2020, the Lake Oswego City Council amended the City Code to allow seasonal restaurant enclosures in commercial areas.
