2025 Toy Drive & Other Giving Options
Help make the season a little brighter for local families!
The City has some great options:
-
Fill a Stocking, Fill a Heart - is a 100% volunteer-operated 501(c)3 non-profit organization that, since 2000, has filled and distributed handmade Christmas stockings to agencies in Clackamas County and their clients, including seniors, adults with disabilities, veterans, children and families, and homeless living in Clackamas County. Stockings are available for pick-up at City Hall (380 A Avenue), and at the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center (505 G Avenue). You can make a difference and help someone in need this holiday season by picking up a stocking, filling it with needed items and a special gift, and returning it to the City Hall or Adult Community Center donation site by Friday, December 5. For more information about Fill a Stocking, Fill a Heart, including the agencies that receive the stockings, visit www.facebook.com/fillastocking.

Covers for Kids - Help make a big difference with a small donation! The Youth Action Council (YAC) is collecting donations to purchase fleece yards to make and decorate blankets for the Clackamas Children’s Center and Once Upon a Room. Each year, YAC makes fun fleece blankets for children in need. These blankets are made with love and designed to brighten a dark day! Roughly a $10 donation = 1 fleece blanket. Donations are tax deductible and will be accepted through Sunday, November 30. Please email Cydny Fletcher at cfletcher@lakeoswego.city, to receive a donation receipt.
-
$25 Gift Cards - Help empower individuals and families experiencing and healing from domestic and sexual violence, child and elder abuse, stalking, dating violence, and trafficking to purchase what is most meaningful to them this holiday season by donating gift cards at the Lake Oswego Public Library (706 Fourth Street). The Library will be accepting gift cards to Amazon, Fred Meyer, Walmart and Target on behalf of the Clackamas Women’s Services through Monday, December 15. This program supports more than 125 families (including nearly 300 children) each year. Learn more about Clackamas Women’s Services at www.cwsor.org.
