Mayor's Roundtable - Field Trip Edition
For this Mayor’s Roundtable, we are taking it on the road!
Join us on Thursday, June 12, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., for a behind-the-scenes tour of the South Shore Fire Station. This event will include a presentation by Assistant Fire Chief Kristine Artman and South Shore Fire Station Task Force Chair Chris Durkee, along with station tours by our firefighters and Task Force members.
Space is limited – please RSVP in advance.
The Mayor’s Roundtable is a community forum to hear directly from the Mayor and Council members on top issues or goals of the community. Following the Task Force's recommendations and City Council direction, we are exploring options to replace the South Shore Fire Station, built in 1971 and now at the end of its useful life. This vital project will ensure we can continue to provide the level of medical, fire, and life safety coverage needed for our community.
