ROBERT HENRY & THE REPEATERS
Country Music
Robert Henry, frontman of Robert Henry & the Repeaters, grew up immersed in country music but didn’t start writing and singing until he was 17. After playing heavy metal in high school, he discovered that his voice was better suited for country, drawn to the genre’s raw emotion, storytelling, and deep-rooted traditions. Influenced by legends like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and George Jones, his sound reflects a rich blend of classic country and personal artistry.
The group formed in 2018 with drummer Jake, the Repeaters evolved into a tight-knit band with Bob Littleton on pedal steel, Justyn on guitar, and Matt on bass. The Portland country scene has flourished in recent years, fostering a strong musical community that has supported the band’s rise. Their latest album, featuring the standout track “Demons & Dreams,” showcases Henry’s emotional depth and signature vocal style. The album drops on December 2nd on all streaming platforms, and fans can follow @roberthenrymusic on Instagram and Robert Henry & the Repeaters on Facebook for updates.
