SHADES OF HUEY is the Pacific Northwest’s premiere tribute to Huey Lewis & The News, featuring Portland R&B vocalist Jeff Beatty. Beatty and band leader Brian Pelky have a long history of playing together, having been longtime members of Portland’s 5 Guys Named Moe. Saxophonist/Harmonica player Steve Snyder is an Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductee. Shades of Huey delivers an outstanding and authentic rendition of a high-energy Huey Lewis concert, performing two decades of hits including Heart of Rock & Roll, Power of Love, I Want a New Drug, Hip to Be Square and many more. Playing fairs, festivals, events and casinos across the region, this group of NW veteran musicians features a powerhouse horn section and all the elements of a great Huey Lewis & The News show.
