Luscher Farm
Camp kiddos hosted a Farmers’ Market for the parents last Friday. With custom made signage and sales pitches at the ready campers ‘sold’ each item for a certain number of tickets provided at the entrance. Market standards for COVID-19 were in place (tables with 2 children are siblings).
Teen Service Corps
TSC finished up the summer program this week. Volunteering service at Luscher Farm the youth assisted in clean-up and bed maintenance. at the end of each week the crew took a fun trip including rafting, a river paddle and zip lining.

ACC On the Move
The Lake Oswego Adult Community Center will move staff and essential services the week of August 24 as the building is prepared for an interior remodel. Meals on Wheels will be paused that week; however, recipients have a supply of meals delivered in advance. Recreation Respite will be held August 24th and 26th but cancelled for August 28. All phone calls and inquires will be returned as soon as possible while services are being transferred during this week.
Meals on Wheels, Lunch2Go and Client Services Coordinator will all be located at Christ Church Parish (CCP) 1060 Chandler Road. Staff Annex is located at 425 N Second Street Suite 200. Oswego Heritage House will site the Recreation Respite Program which will continue to meet via Zoom until further notice.
DRIVE-IN MOVIES AT LUSCHER FARM
August 15 & 16 LOPR Events will host ‘Flicks at the Farm’ movie nights. With flicks Toy Story 4 and Jumanji (the first ‘Rock’ one) it’s sure to be a fun, family physical distanced event.
PARKS
Moving to battery operated equipment when applicable and useful Parks purchased several new items to add to the inventory of property beautification machines.
