Boards & Commissions
Nearly 100 Lake Oswego residents serve on an Advisory Board or Commission each year. The Boards and Commissions provide community-level policy advice to City Council throughout the year. They advise on issues related to the charge of their Board and offering perspective on the needs of their neighbors, friends, and community.
Deadline Extended - Applications Close Tuesday, April 7, at 5:00 PM
Five Advisory Boards reserve positions for youth members. This one-year experiential learning opportunity, designed for high school sophomores and juniors, provides a first-hand look into City operations. While learning, youth members advise and vote on issues related to the charge of their Board – helping to ensure the needs of Lake Oswego’s next generation are factored into the decisions we make today.
Committees & Commissions
Lake Oswego has three state-mandated bodies which are responsible for reviewing changes related to municipal spending and land use.
