The Parks & Recreation Community Events team has been working to plan a schedule of events for you to enjoy! We recognize the important role that events play in placemaking, enriching lives, fostering wellness, and economic vitality.

Interested Performers: Interested in performing at Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation community events? Submit an online performer application here. Application includes contact information, website, pricing, event of interest and opportunities to include footage of live performances. The application also allows an equitable process for all musicians interested in joining us.

Volunteering: The Community Events team is fortunate to be supported through numerous volunteers that help make events a success, and we welcome your interest in joining us! Whether you have one hour to 50+, we are interested in having you as part of our team. Volunteers assist with Farmers' Market, Summer Concerts, Cultural Events, Star Spangled Celebrations, and more! Join us on Saturday, November 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Millennium Plaza Park as many of your favorite Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market vendors return to share the bounty of their fall harvest. Enjoy shopping on a crisp fall afternoon amid the scent of pumpkins, sweet potatoes and mushrooms and pick up a few new fall recipes to boot. The entire family can appreciate the live music and local artisans. Plus, the horse drawn wagon rides are back!

The City of Lake Oswego and the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce invite you to ring in the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting Festival! 2025 marks the 61st anniversary of this time-honored tradition.
Festivities take place at Millennium Plaza Park, with festive music and caroling, a holiday marketplace with food and artisan vendors, letters to Santa with Lake Oswego Police, photos with Santa, reindeer viewing from Timberview Farm and more! The celebratory lighting of the Millennium tree takes place at 5:30 p.m.
