Business License Renewal

Business licenses are required and restrictions are imposed by the Lake Oswego City Code (LOC 20.02). These were enacted to ensure the public's interest by regulating businesses to make sure they comply with applicable laws and ordinances, and conduct themselves in a manner that does not detract from the public health, safety, and welfare. 
 

Paying Your Business License Renewals

Paying Online

Once you receive your renewal form in the mail, you have the option of paying the fee online. This option will work best for businesses that have no changes (i.e. mailing address, property address, number of employees, etc).  If your business needs to update any information, please complete the renewal form and pay by mail or in person at City Hall.

This is an online program where you can review your prior business licenses and make credit card payments online from the convenience and security of your home computer.
