The Lake Oswego Fire Department is taking the COVID-19 threat very seriously. We are proactively taking steps to ensure our workforce is healthy and that we are continuing to provide the highest level of emergency response to the communities we serve. We are working collaboratively with our regional fire department partners and following the advice from Clackamas County Disaster Management and the Oregon Health Authority.
Lake Oswego Fire Department is currently responding to all emergencies as we would under normal circumstances however as we are responding on calls for medical assistance you may see us wearing more personal protective equipment. Firefighters will routinely wear a mask, gloves and safety glasses on many calls. Please know that this precaution does not necessarily mean we suspect a patient of having COVID-19.
At this time there is no public access to the fire stations including the fire administrative offices. This is to limit the inadvertent exposure of the COVID-19 virus to both firefighters and visitors. For business needs please call 503.635.0275 to schedule an appointment if needed. In the event of an emergency please call 911.
Until further notice the Fire Marshal’s Office is providing limited services by appointment only.
