All new buildings must provide access to the Fire Department in emergency situations. Lake Oswego Fire Department has selected the Knox company for our lock box program.
The fire department requires permits on certain activities or events. Some of these permits are:
“If you are applying for a tent permit and is due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the permit fee is not required.”

To request an inspection from the Fire Marshal's Office for new construction, fire alarm or sprinklers, contact our office at
503-635-0275 preferably 48-hours in advance. If the request is less then 48-hours, we might not be able to conduct the inspection if we are not available.
