Test Lake Oswego Interceptor Sewer Inspection

The City is performing a routine underwater inspection of the Lake Oswego Interceptor Sewer beginning after Labor Day weekend and continuing through Winter 2021/22. This work will help make sure the buoyant sewer pipeline that lies across Oswego Lake continues to serve the community reliably.

The City will be using barges to deploy divers and robotic cameras to inspect each segment of the pipeline. Boaters are asked to respect the 200-foot no-wake safety zone where work is occurring.

Test Council President Nguyen Withdraws Resignation

City Council President Daniel Nguyen withdraws relocation resignation effective immediately.

“After the recent passing of my father, I have decided to withdraw my resignation from City Council and continue to live in Lake Oswego. When I made the decision to relocate my family last month, I had a dream of living in a multi-generational household alongside my parents. Since the passing of my father, I have reevaluated what is best for our family at this time and we will not be moving,” Council President Nguyen said.

Council President Nguyen will continue to serve out his current term, expiring December 2022. The City will be cancelling the Council vacancy process immediately.
