Build, Shake, Explore! STEM Stations 4/10

Friday, April 10, 2026 - 10:30am

As part of the 2026 Lake Oswego Reads program based on the book Tilt by Emma Pattee, drop in for a hands-on STEM adventure as we explore the forces and features of our planet through a series of exciting science stations.

Kids can test their engineering skills at our earthquake shake tables and simulate the layers of the Earth by filling jars with colorful sand and rocks for a DIY geological cross-section. And for an extra challenge, young engineers can experiment with bridge building using toothpicks and marshmallows. This program is a collaboration with the Lake Oswego School District STEM labs.
