Global Stories - Telugu
First Saturday Readalouds feature stories and songs told in different languages by Lake Oswego community members. Each month spotlights a different world language, familiar songs, and a simple craft.
In July we welcome Stuthi to lead our readaloud. "I grew up in Hyderabad, India and moved to the United States 8 years ago with my family. We moved to Lake Oswego in 2019 and fell in love with its natural beauty. We have two kids, in 5th and 3rd grade who also love to visit the library. We enjoy hiking and going to the beach, as well as exploring new places. I have a Masters in Computer Science from ASU and work as a Software Engineer in Portland. Growing up I loved reading and my favorite author was Enid Blyton. I’m looking forward to sharing my love for reading!"
(If your native language is not English, and you are interested in reading a story aloud to children at the library, please speak to one of our Youth Services Librarians for more information.)
