Lego Club Survive the Quake! Engineering Challenge 4/25

As part of the 2026 Lake Oswego Reads program based on the book Tilt by Emma Pattee, Library kids and families are exploring geology, the movement of the earth, and the ever-changing patterns of the natural world.
This month, Lego Club builders are invited to design structures that can withstand an earthquake. Kids can place their creations on our earthquake tables and test how well their engineering holds up when the shaking starts.
Drop in every second and fourth Saturday of the month to imagine, build and create. Lego bricks provided! Creations will be displayed for all to admire. Recommended for grades K-5. Parents are welcome too.
