The Shark Riddle

Saturday March 30th, 2:00 - 3:00 PM  Lower Level Children's Library

The Shark Riddle Show

Are you fascinated by sharks?!  Join award-wining underwater filmmakers and sister/brother duo Laura and Robert Sams for a shark-filled performance based on their children’s film The Shark Riddle. Do you know what makes a shark a shark? What’s the biggest shark on the Oregon coast?  Play their game 'Big or Small' to find out! Plus, they’ll sing their popular Great White Shark Song and share behind the scenes stories about filming animals underwater, plus sea lions on the Oregon coast. Stick around and take your picture with one of the stars of the film, a life-sized (23 feet long inflatable) basking shark.

Laura and Robert have worked with PBS KIDS, The Jim Henson Company, the Smithsonian Channel, Animal Planet, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and more. The Shark Riddle has won Best Children's Program at the International Wildlife Film Festival, the BLUE Ocean Film Festival and the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival. It also won Best Educational Short at the International Family Film Festival.  Learn more about these siblings that get along at www.sisbro.com.
