Storytimes

Storytime programs are meant to meet your child where they are and promote early literacy and learning. We tailor each program to best fit the needs of your child's age group. We hope this guide helps you find a great storytime that fits your child's needs and development. Please don't hesitate to ask a librarian if you're not sure which program to attend.

Dates for storytime sessions can be found on our calendar of events. When in session, storytimes follow the format below:

Preschool (3-5 yrs) Tuesdays @ 10:30am

Preschool Storytime promotes early literacy with books, flannelboard stories, music, rhymes, and songs that will help your child develop the skills they need to get ready to read! It also promotes critical and imaginative thinking, as well as social skills.

Toddlers (2-3 yrs)  Wednesdays @ 10:30am

Toddler Storytime includes shorter interactive books, action songs, body movement, and rhymes that encourage a love of reading and socializing. Little ones are learning to listen and follow directions while having fun!

Fun for Ones (12-24 mos.)  Thursdays @ 10:30am

Fun for Ones Storytime is packed with short books, songs, and rhymes. Foster a love for reading in your little one, with plenty of time for bubbles, interactive play, and socializing.

Babies (0-12 mos.)  Thursdays @ 3pm

It's never to early to foster a love for reading in your little one! Join us for board books, lap songs, rhymes, bubbles, and playtime for babies and their grownups.
