StoryWalk "All Around Us"
Visit Freepons Park to read our newest StoryWalk® installation. All Around Us by Xelena González and illustrated by Adriana M Garcia draws in the reader with intricate drawings and a movingly simple story about the circle of life. The story will be available during Freepons Park’s open hours for the entire month.

What is a StoryWalk®?
StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are displayed and installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story. StoryWalks promote early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. They are also an opportunity to reach community members who may not come to the library.
Where is the StoryWalk®?
Stories are installed in different parks throughout the City. Locations and book selections change on a semi-regular basis. Below are books we have featured in the past.
