StoryWalk "Sugar in Milk" at West Waluga
Monday, April 1, 2024 - 8:00am to Tuesday, April 30, 2024 - 5:00pm
Take a walk through West Waluga Park to read our newest StoryWalk® installation, "Sugar In Milk." Written by Thrity Umrigar and illustrated by Khoa Le, "Sugar in Milk" is a contemporary and timely story of a young girl who joins her aunt and uncle in a new land. A story within the story reveals an age old folktale about the power of diversity, acceptance, and tolerance from a gifted storyteller. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
