Test Preparing For Emerald Ash Borer - Workshop

On June 13, from 10-11:30 a.m., join Parks & Recreation staff to learn about the emerald ash borer (EAB), an invasive beetle that infests and kills ash trees. This tiny green insect has the potential to wipe out native and non-native ash in only a few years.

EAB is expected to arrive in Lake Oswego sometime in the near future. Once EAB arrives in an area, it cannot be eradicated. However, even though it cannot be eradicated, there are steps we can take to slow its spread and limit its impacts.

This free workshop will cover ash tree identification, signs and symptoms of EAB, management strategies, and tree species alternatives for replacing ash.

Capacity is limited to 40 participants. Register now!
