COURT TIPS AND CONDUCT

Start Time Court begins promptly at the time listed on your citation, release agreement, or notice to appear. Late arrival may constitute a failure to appear judgement being entered, or a warrant issued for your arrest.

Check In and Check Out We are located on the third (3rd) floor of city hall. You must check in at the Court Cashier window prior to entering the courtroom, and before leaving. Copies of all paperwork will be provided after your hearing. Failure to check out or return original copies to the clerk before leaving may result in an order to appear for failure to comply.

Dress Code When appearing in court, you should be dressed appropriately. Hats must be removed prior to entering the courtroom, and shorts, tank tops, ripped, and revealing clothing are not allowed. Appearing under the influence of any sort of intoxicant is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Items Recording is not allowed inside of the courtroom. Weapons (including pepper spray) are not allowed inside. Cellphones must be silenced. No food or drink is permitted in the
